Fathers Day Brunch!

18th June '11 / Dim Sum for Daddy's Day

me & my family celebrated father's day @ Mouth Restaurant, China Town!

Time for the food;
 siew mai w prawn

 a must-have if you eat dim sum: char siew bao

 peking duck's skin with crepe!

 crab meat xiao long bao (i prefer the original)

 some meat ball dumpling 

 chee cheong fun!

 salted egg yolk crispy bun (superb!!)

 har gao

 fried yam balls

prawn spring roll (underneath the skin are fresh shrimps!!)

the food is overall, uhm, average i'd say. they don't even serve char siew sou (some pork pastry) & egg tarts!! how can dim sum not have egg tarts right? so i prefer the mother's day brunch @ Orchid Country Club!

after finishing our food, couz Danny brought me & Derek to a place in China Town where it sells AWESOME CREAM CHEESE RAISIN BUNS. and with his trusty iphone's map, the bakery's just opposite the restaurant we were eating at!
BAR COOK BAKERY! 
they sell other delicious buns and pastries(?) too. walkable distance from China Town mrt station. go google if you're interested!

apologies if you can't see clearly, blame it on my couz's awesome cam skillz ;)

hitched a ride from 3rd uncle&aunt and headed to City Hall to get a wallet for daddy as a father's day present! then went to meet Yihui to check out the new Forever 21 store at Orchard Xchange? It's super near, you just have to alight at Orchard mrt station, go up an escalator and you're there!

P/s I really don't like taking pictures sometimes because my complexion is getting shittier and shittier and i don't care if there's such a word because i wash my face day & night and i drink water i really don't know what's wrong somebody please help lol

P/p/s Used couz's iphone cause 1. my digi cam died on me 2. i didn't bring the dslr 3. i don't have an iphone 4. my phone's cam sucks

Hi guys!!!!! AS PROMISED, HERE'S A FOOD POST TO MAKE YOU HUNGRY. The bestie and I went to a cafe for tea followed by a scrumptious dinner back in July... And here are the photos and details. YAHAVA KOFFEEWORKS Since we were gonna have a pretty full dinner, E and I shared a cuppa latte and scone. I like how they serve their coffee in a ceramic cup with a colourful rubber holder. Different from those cups with a handle. The coffee was rich and well blended. Don't mind the ruined top of the rosetta latte art, accidentally scraped it. It was perf when it came!!! Raisin scone served with jam and butter, just the way I like it. It was good just that it would be better if it were to be a little more moist! E shooting me shooting her with a brand new camera TEEHEE. Because of the insanely hot weather, we then took a cab to Turf City!!!!! Obviously we had to walk around Pasarbella Farmer's Market since we were there. My fav shop in PFM :') ...

so my mind was completely shut off yesterday and i didn't feel like talking to anybody. neither do i feel like today but i guess that won't do and i won't be able to hide from the world forever. i am weird and i know that. i think i suffer from Anthropophobia. go search the dictionary. quoted from Edmunds' facebook, i think i'm an "introverted extrovert". and i've decided not to keep up with the 30-day challenge of Justin Bieber because i've been enlightened. i find no point in doing so cause its not as if he'll see it. and i've never even met him in person before and it'll be almost impossible to complete answering it. i'm starting to doubt myself even. maybe i should stop being sucha Justin Bieber fanatic because so many girls are going gaga over him and that irks me. maybe what Hana said was right, i should listen to more intellectual and inspirational songs.
