I wanted to blog after each day of CNY but I couldn't find the time to because everyday seemed so packed. So here's everything in one post!

22nd Jan, Sunday - Reunion Dinner

Went for CNY service in the late morning and then back home!
Had a short nap before meeting Mr.W and then headed to grandma's house to sort of help out :p
I guess it has become a tradition for our family to have steamboat and home-cooked dishes every reunion dinner now. But nonetheless, dinner @ grandma's house will always be appetizing and awesome.

After dinner, we had peaches and longans for dessert as usual!
Surprisingly nobody opened any bottles of alcohol and I didn't faint this year. HAHA.
Distribution of red packets, mahjong session for the adults, children running around~
Happy times :D
Went to Starbucks to claim my birthday cake with Danny and Derek.
(Green tea latte is really good, better than Green tea cream)

23rd Jan, CNY Day 1

Went to grandma's house in the morning and then mom's relatives' house in the noon!
Tubs and tubs of CNY goodies @ grandma's place
 There's only 4/5 tins of goodies at my place and we didn't even purchase any of them.
Hahaha, ain't a sucker for CNY goodies...

As usual, Auntie Pauline will make her famous and mouthwatering rose-shaped pineapple tarts!! :)
Her pineapple tarts made me start eating pineapple tarts, because I won't touch any of those gotten from outside.

24th Jan, CNY Day 2

Went to visit another of Mom's relatives in the noon :)
Whenever we go to this relative's place I'd been craving for her rice wine chicken and pork trotters vinegar! They're so delicious!! 

Left at around 3pm and headed to Yihui's place to bainian with Mr.W~
Didn't manage to see her baby cousin Joel, miss her!! So chubby my goodness.

Left at 5.30pm with Mr.W, fetched Damin and his gf, and went to Clinton's place!
Steamboat, steamboat how I love steamboats ^^
Always glad to see old faces, especially when I don't feel awkward around them.

Went to bainian with Mr.W's parents after dinner and he fetched me home ♡
Enjoyed my day!!

25th, CNY Day 3

My house was opened on Day 3 and I managed to catchup with secondary school friends.

Mr.W came to visit too and I actually forgot to take a picture with him how is it possible I don't know...

Oh not forgetting to mention, Annice made a belated birthday gift for me @ my place.

28th Jan, CNY Day 6

Headed to Yi Po's (another relative) place :)
I personally enjoy home-cooked lunches better than those expensive buffets people cater to houses.
Auntie Serene prepared some really good dishes: Pork trotters vinegar, fried calamari, nuggets, stir-fried chye sim, teriyaki chicken and more~
Sat around, looked pretty, watched movies, ate, sat around, looked pretty, watched movies, ate...
Until Yi Po decided to bring us to Lot One and Yewtee Point to walk around!!
Got gongcha @ Yewtee Point and I was pleased :)
Went back to her house and stayed until 10pm cause Daddy was playing mahjong!! 
Ahhh the wait was madness because I was so sleepy.

This is my CNY week of 2012 and it was pretty awesome :D

Hi guys!!!!! AS PROMISED, HERE'S A FOOD POST TO MAKE YOU HUNGRY. The bestie and I went to a cafe for tea followed by a scrumptious dinner back in July... And here are the photos and details. YAHAVA KOFFEEWORKS Since we were gonna have a pretty full dinner, E and I shared a cuppa latte and scone. I like how they serve their coffee in a ceramic cup with a colourful rubber holder. Different from those cups with a handle. The coffee was rich and well blended. Don't mind the ruined top of the rosetta latte art, accidentally scraped it. It was perf when it came!!! Raisin scone served with jam and butter, just the way I like it. It was good just that it would be better if it were to be a little more moist! E shooting me shooting her with a brand new camera TEEHEE. Because of the insanely hot weather, we then took a cab to Turf City!!!!! Obviously we had to walk around Pasarbella Farmer's Market since we were there. My fav shop in PFM :') ...

so my mind was completely shut off yesterday and i didn't feel like talking to anybody. neither do i feel like today but i guess that won't do and i won't be able to hide from the world forever. i am weird and i know that. i think i suffer from Anthropophobia. go search the dictionary. quoted from Edmunds' facebook, i think i'm an "introverted extrovert". and i've decided not to keep up with the 30-day challenge of Justin Bieber because i've been enlightened. i find no point in doing so cause its not as if he'll see it. and i've never even met him in person before and it'll be almost impossible to complete answering it. i'm starting to doubt myself even. maybe i should stop being sucha Justin Bieber fanatic because so many girls are going gaga over him and that irks me. maybe what Hana said was right, i should listen to more intellectual and inspirational songs.
