Food Adventures

I love food adventures.

Started the holiday yesterday by going back to school to return the iPad.
Mr.W accompanied me so that we could head to Chinatown after that :)
Travelled all the way there just to have lunch at Maxwell Food Centre, and most importantly buy my favourite Lao Ban Tau Huey (beancurd).

Saw the Thai food stall the previous week and decided that I was gonna come back and try it.
Tried Phad Thai for the first time!!!
Surprisingly I kinda like it☺  
The horfun isn't like your typical local horfun, it's almost translucent and it's so bouncy.


 Mr.W had Beach Road Prawn Mee!
Cause I wanted to try too :)
And... it beats the one that I always have after facial at People's Park Centre.

OF COURSE, it's Beach Road's and it's well known.
The soup is tasty, 'nuff said.

Thank God the queue subsided and Mr.W went to buy them immediately.
Because after a few minutes... they closed the shop for batch 2 to come in!!!!!!!

Went to Lavender to run an errand then headed straight home after that because the boxes of beancurd were really heavy and we needed to keep them fresh and cold in the refrigerator!

Yh came over and we watched Big Bang Theory together :)
Then met my 2 fav girls Annice and Shihui, had dinner @ KFC and caught up a little.
Internship is here so most of my friends are busy. So glad that we still managed to meet up!!

What I had for breakfast today:
Peanut butter + Banana Sandwich 
Wanted to add honey but couldn't find it at home... So I tried peanut butter instead.
And who knew that they'd go so well together!! (Cuz I didn't)

What I had for lunch:
Chicken and vege macaroni soup
Wanted to be healthy so I decided to cook my own lunch.
Silly and inexperienced me only added 2 tablespoons of soya sauce and it tasted as bland as whatever that taste bland.
Finished the entire bowl anyway cause I didn't wanna waste food.

Gonna attempt cooking again tomorrow or Thurs. HAHA.

Been watching cooking and baking videos on youtube and I'm so inspired to whip up some dishes!!
If only money would fall from the sky $$$$$$$ *catch*

Hi guys!!!!! AS PROMISED, HERE'S A FOOD POST TO MAKE YOU HUNGRY. The bestie and I went to a cafe for tea followed by a scrumptious dinner back in July... And here are the photos and details. YAHAVA KOFFEEWORKS Since we were gonna have a pretty full dinner, E and I shared a cuppa latte and scone. I like how they serve their coffee in a ceramic cup with a colourful rubber holder. Different from those cups with a handle. The coffee was rich and well blended. Don't mind the ruined top of the rosetta latte art, accidentally scraped it. It was perf when it came!!! Raisin scone served with jam and butter, just the way I like it. It was good just that it would be better if it were to be a little more moist! E shooting me shooting her with a brand new camera TEEHEE. Because of the insanely hot weather, we then took a cab to Turf City!!!!! Obviously we had to walk around Pasarbella Farmer's Market since we were there. My fav shop in PFM :') ...

so my mind was completely shut off yesterday and i didn't feel like talking to anybody. neither do i feel like today but i guess that won't do and i won't be able to hide from the world forever. i am weird and i know that. i think i suffer from Anthropophobia. go search the dictionary. quoted from Edmunds' facebook, i think i'm an "introverted extrovert". and i've decided not to keep up with the 30-day challenge of Justin Bieber because i've been enlightened. i find no point in doing so cause its not as if he'll see it. and i've never even met him in person before and it'll be almost impossible to complete answering it. i'm starting to doubt myself even. maybe i should stop being sucha Justin Bieber fanatic because so many girls are going gaga over him and that irks me. maybe what Hana said was right, i should listen to more intellectual and inspirational songs.
