You shine brighter than anyone
Stayed over at Grandma's on Monday night and she offered to treat me brunch the next morning :)
We went to Peach Garden @ Orchid Country Club for brunch with Grandpa and 4th Uncle.
Remember blogging about the food there before but there's always space for more!
Century Egg Porridge
We all loved ^ this. It was so tasty as if cooked to perfection.
When Grandma says it's nice, means it IS.
Har Gow (prawn dumpling)
The skin was smooth and chewy. Shrimp was juicy.
Crispy Eggtarts
As usual, Mama and I would always compare the egg tarts we eat to the ones we had in Ipoh.
And as usual they always lose. I mean, look at the size!!! Puny.
Siew Mai and Wu Gok (fried yam pastry)
Not a fan of these two!
Xiao Long Bao
A must-order for me while having dim sum. Not bad, they improved by adding more soup into the dumpling. It's tasty when accompanied with ginger slices and vinegar :')
Grandma ordered fried carrot cake too.
I didn't eat a lot though. Ever since the horrible incident at Crystal Jade the other time, I didn't dare eat much dim sum. It wasn't the food, I think. T'was just me being a ginormous pig and thus suffering after that :)
Happy whenever I'm around food and the people I love.
