Legoland + Secret Recipe
So I took off from work last Friday and headed to Legoland Malaysia with my family.
IN THE HAZE.
Yeah that's right. You might be thinking 'cause YOLO' but no we just refused to pay extra $25 per ticket for postponing the trip. Got my shades and mask ready to battle the haze but surprisingly the haze at Legoland wasn't that bad. Apparently on that day the PSI in Singapore hit 400. We're lucky ;)
To summarize the entire trip, I enjoyed my time at the mall instead. Mall of Medini is located just outside the amusement park. I was in awe looking at all the food they have there. Japanese, Western, Chinese, and lots of desserts *_* I think the target group for Legoland is children so it's better to bring kids there. Coming from a fan of thrill rides, the only level of thrill I felt was 0.5/10. Maybe because it was hazy so there were really little people. The land is big, but it feels like they didn't put it to good use. Unlike USS! You don't feel like you're in Singapore :)
Don't expect many pictures from this... T'was hazy and didn't felt the need to bring my cam.
I will always love them medieval designs and settings :)
PRISONER OF THE HAZE WAZZZZZUP.
I really like the miniature Legoland!!!
^ Don't this look familiar to you? The Fullerton Hotel in Singapore + the legendary merlion ;)
Finished Legoland in about 4 hours? We didn't have to queue for any rides at all because like I said, there wasn't much of a crowd. Went to Mall of Medini for lunch and tea break :)
Chocolate strawberry crepe :) It tasted more like Jollibean's crispy pancake...
I miss Japan's crepe!!!! :')
I finally tried... SECRET RECIPE.
I've been dying to try their cakes because all the pictures from Instagram look so delish.
Blackforest cake. Pretty good.
Mad love their chocolate banana cake!!!!! Added to my list of favourite cakes :)
Oreo cheesecake. Not a fan of this. It tasted as if it was baked using a premix.
Another one of my favourite: Mango delight :)
I love mangos so this was right up my alley. I removed the cream in between though...
Am looking forward to trying more of their cakes in Singapore.
Despite the lack of thrill rides, it was still a fruitful trip with the people I love. A good getaway is just what you need every now and then, no matter how short it is. I'm quite excited and nervous about the things to come. Even though my heart will never stop longing to travel and experience life overseas, I'm glad that I'm given the opportunity to study in a local U :)
Thanks for reading!! x
