HELLO SEPTEMBER

HAPPY SEPTEMBER YOU GUYS!!!!

August felt like forever. Partly cause school has started...

But I'm so glad Sept's here, even though it's gonna be helluva busy month. I like busy.

2 more months till all the Christmas decors hit the stores :) So excited, as always, every year.

Anyway to kick off the month, I'm here to update with a food post ;)

Went to L'etoile cafe with Annice sometime during the holidays. Thanks to SUGAR for letting me snag a plate of eggs benny at only $8.60!!!! Anyhoooos, here's L'etoile.

They have a small area selling knick knacks too, super cute.

Eggs Benedict - poached eggs with hollandaise sauce on ham & bread + salad 

They're known for their eggs benny so I suppose it lived up to it's name yeah?

Personally I like it quite a lot, even though I'd prefer my eggs benny with smoked salmon ;)

The eggs were perfectly poached, with yolk oozing out when you cut it. OOZ.

Annice's Big Breakfast - toasted bread, potato chunks, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, 

tomatoes + salad

She loved the way the tomatoes were cooked. So do I. I love the potato chunks too hehe.

The scrambled eggs were a little overcooked but I guess it's fine. 

Would love to whip up a big breakfast like this at home, totes DOABLE ;)

Btw they have a 2nd level too which we were a little lazy to explore.

But judging from the pictures it looks pretty cozy and comfy! Will defo visit again.

A and I headed to town to do some shopping after that. And also had afternoon tea at The Marmalade Pantry. I love TMP!!!!!!

I got a berry smoothie and a cupcake called HAZEL. 

Super sinful and rich hazelnut frosting on top of moist chocolate cupcake!!!!

I like how the cake isn't sweet so that there's a balance between the sponge and the frosting.

Annice's baked apple pie with a scoopa vanilla ice-cream.

Tried it, loved it. And would you please look at the amount of apple slices stuffed into the pie LOLOL. 

We went home satisfied that day.
