OSAKA 2014 • DAY 2

OH HELLO
(created this post somewhere in March but only got the time to post it now... better late than never)

Above link's a recap of day 1, on my arrival in Jap, boob rocks, fish market... etc.

The next morning we packed our bags, left the hotel and went on a road trip to the next destination.
I love it when we're in the cold, and your skin feels the rays of the sun seeping through.
Your skin is cold but the sun warms it :)
Vending machine coffees to keep me awake on the way <3 p="">
If you read my previous travel posts, you'll know I ALWAYS fall asleep once I get on the car or tour bus. I can't even if my ability to fall asleep anywhere.....
Pa and Ma navigating.
Our first stop was a hot spring.... Only to find out that it's for males?
Cuz they were fully naked... And we know that cuz my aunt saw a boy's ass.
Realising that the only thing we'll get are people's asses, we left for our next destination.

A SHRINE.
Lots of cleansing wells found in the temples/shrines of Japan.
Ring the bell for blessing.
^We should have one in every country yeah?
TORII GATE!!!!
ARE WE OUT OF THE WOODS?

I attempted an artsy shot but was it?

After sightseeing we went to hunt for food. We passed by this 100¥ sushi shop and all of us, or just my sis and I squealed.
I flippin' love their grilled eel sushi. I love everything.

Next we went to visit another shrine.
It felt like the figures from my art history notes came alive.
Buddha be laughin!
My uncle researched for good cheesecakes and apparently the shop above sells really good cheesecake tarts. So we got one to try. It was aight! But it'll never beat the one we ordered to our hotel in Osaka (pix up soon) ;)
Mandatory shot every time I go to Japan. Forever fascinated by the huge variety of food and drinks at the convenience stores.

After all the walking we drove to have dinner, where we tried whale meat for the first time.
Vegans and vegetarians, don't hate me!!! We just wanted to try something exotic...
But tbh it just tasted like fried fish. So once is enough :)
Nothing can go wrong with udon and tempura.
And katsu.
And beef.
Passed by a dessert shop run by an old lady and of course we had to show some love. Also had to show my stomach more love during supper. Got a slice of cake!! :)
Checked in to the new hotel and we went to my Dad & sis's room to have a dessert party (a recurring sight the next few days in Japan). My uncle and aunt brought their lemon cheesecake over and I brought 2 sticks of supermarket-bought cheesecake and the slice of chocolate cake over.
Obvs turnt up with C A K E
Oh and I got this DARS chocolate drink when we were at the convenience store.
Literally the liquid form of dars chocolate. So creamy and milky and all things delicious.
SWEET DREAMS
