21st Month @ Tonkotsu King ♡

Happy 21st Month darling boy :)
As months go by, I continue to stay in awe at the fact that we're still together and maintaining the relationship pretty well. I'm sure there's no other guy who can take my mood-swings/insecurities/attitudes/signature 'alicia-face'/complaints/whining as well and as long as you do. Thank you for sticking with me through thick and thin. I love you ♥

So the boy gave me a treat after school today at a ramen house called:
TONKOTSU KING
It's located just a road away from Tanjong Pagar Mrt Station, exit A :)

They specialize in Tonkotsu Ramen, of course.
Tonkotsu = Pork bone

They have original, black spicy (black pepper) and red spicy (red chili).
You can have just the broth and the noodles, with only egg, with only seaweed, or both egg and seaweed! I don't know why I didn't get the seaweed too because I love both eggs and seaweed :(
But thank God I picked the egg because I LOVED IT. It's called flavoured egg but I'm not sure what flavour is it. Only know it's called Hanjuku egg in Jap :)

AND!! You can choose if you want the noodle to be Hard, Normal or Soft. You can also choose if you want the soup's taste to be Strong, Normal or Light. You can also choose whether you want spring onions and black fungus.

It's quite a small shop that Lj and I were shocked. But no it's neither warm nor stuffy, in fact it's really cosy with the Japanese-themed decoration.

Was so glad that the waitress gave us the counter seat!! Really reminded me of Japan :')

You must be wondering why is there a basket of eggs there and that I would be so crazy to order that right...... But no, the hardboiled eggs were FREE. And so is the bowl of black and white sesame seeds.

Together with ice water, bean-sprouts (not sure if it's preserved, but it tasted good), mayonnaise, chili powder, soya sauce and salt~ I think the free eggs are probably for people who order only the plain ramen. How thoughtful!!

Red spicy tonkotsu ramen!
She was really nice to give me my ramen and the chili separately because I was afraid it'd be too spicy.
How thoughtful x2!!

This boy really funny. He offered to help me peel the shell off the egg. BUT just when I was about to dig in, he said "Eh take picture of me peeling the egg for you leh"
LOL!! Peel egg also want credit for it omg.

Really enjoyed the bowl of ramen and I'm so going back again!! Should prolly bring my parents there since my dad's a fan of Jap food.

Thanks love for the day and also for battling 2 lizards for me hehehe ♥
Goodnight~
