Internship Week #1

Strawberries, Hummus dip, Organic Chips
^ These are currently my favourite snacks. Especially the latter two. Been having them after coming home from work. The prefect combination!!
Phad Thai
^ Had this twice for lunch this week. Tastes even better with chopped chili padi! One thing good about where I'm working at is that there's a stretch of coffee shops and food places just downstairs. How cool is that?
Dried Yong Tau Foo
^ Managed to try the famous yong tau foo that some of my colleagues were talking about.
It's like lor mee, but drier. Oh and the shop is just downstairs!!
Homemade durian snowskin mooncakes
^ Made these mooncakes with my fellowship people on Wednesday for the ongoing CREATE365 project at church. It was pretty successful and the mooncakes looked so pretty.
Homemade breakfast - Sausages, cheese scrambled eggs, hummus and chips
^ I've decided to pamper myself by whipping up a hearty breakfast this morning.

I really miss blogging and laying in bed just watching F.R.I.E.N.D.S. but first week of internship was pretty alright. It changed my body clock that's for sure. I even woke up at 7.33am today without the alarm clock. The things that kept me going this week were the joy of learning new things, Mom's encouragement, Dad's texts to me of bible verses and Mama's home-cooked meals :) And of course Jed's companion ~

Hope that next week will be better!!! *cross fingers*
Goodnight. x
