Internship Week #2

Bak Kut Teh (Pork Ribs Soup)
^Finally satisfied my bak kut teh craving with Jed for lunch on Friday!! :)
Been waiting to have this for 2 weeks. Walking past the BKT stall every morning and evening made my craving even stronger omg.

German Muesli Bread
^Walked past Barcook Bakery on Friday and decided to buy a loaf of german muesli bread for my family to try. We finished everything on Saturday morning and everyone loved it ;)
I think they mixed in nuts, oats and raisins. Shall try their cranberry loaf next time.

Lean Meat Century Egg Porridge
^ Had porridge for lunch yesterday with the family at Clarke Quay after facial with Momsy. (yes again, 6th time this week I've been to CQ) Love soaking the you tiao into the hot porridge then eating it. Crispy, hot and salty :D

Sunny Park Rooftop View
^ Went to Dad's friend's place yesterday for gathering and buffet dinner. That's the view from the rooftop of his place. How cool and beautiful is that?! The host came back from Korea and plated out a huge tray of fresh kimchi for us and my eyes beamed 8) HAHAHA yum.

Mee Tai Mak in Spicy Soup
^ Had mee tai mak with spicy pork soup today and it wasn't planned. Popped by Mama's after church cause I needed the toilet and she just came out of the kitchen with a bowl of noodles for me ^_^ Happy happy.

Yet another fruitful week!! It actually feels this great to be happy and looking forward to something everyday. Like whenever I'm at work, I'll looking forward to lunch, going back to Mama's house for dinner and the weekends. I'm also extremely looking forward to Christmas!!!☃ 

Had the longest walk of my life yesterday with Dad and Sis. Walked from home to KTPH, then to old Yishun library, the hilltop, back to KTPH and back home. It totalled up to about 11km. I'm not lying because my Dad says so. He has this nike device that calculates the total distance he walks and updates it on a website. Came home famished and quickly ate the german bread I got the day before. Mom ate 2, Sis ate 2, I ate 2 and Dad finished the remaining 6 OMG?!?! It costed me $3.90 and he didn't even leave another slice for me hahaha. 

This week, work has taught me not to take things too personally.
Hoping that next week will be even better!!!!! Received an email on Friday morning and I got stunned. Will write what's it about when it's 101% confirmed.
WOOHOO.
Hahahaha Niall you adorable Irish man.

Hi guys!!!!! AS PROMISED, HERE'S A FOOD POST TO MAKE YOU HUNGRY. The bestie and I went to a cafe for tea followed by a scrumptious dinner back in July... And here are the photos and details. YAHAVA KOFFEEWORKS Since we were gonna have a pretty full dinner, E and I shared a cuppa latte and scone. I like how they serve their coffee in a ceramic cup with a colourful rubber holder. Different from those cups with a handle. The coffee was rich and well blended. Don't mind the ruined top of the rosetta latte art, accidentally scraped it. It was perf when it came!!! Raisin scone served with jam and butter, just the way I like it. It was good just that it would be better if it were to be a little more moist! E shooting me shooting her with a brand new camera TEEHEE. Because of the insanely hot weather, we then took a cab to Turf City!!!!! Obviously we had to walk around Pasarbella Farmer's Market since we were there. My fav shop in PFM :') ...

so my mind was completely shut off yesterday and i didn't feel like talking to anybody. neither do i feel like today but i guess that won't do and i won't be able to hide from the world forever. i am weird and i know that. i think i suffer from Anthropophobia. go search the dictionary. quoted from Edmunds' facebook, i think i'm an "introverted extrovert". and i've decided not to keep up with the 30-day challenge of Justin Bieber because i've been enlightened. i find no point in doing so cause its not as if he'll see it. and i've never even met him in person before and it'll be almost impossible to complete answering it. i'm starting to doubt myself even. maybe i should stop being sucha Justin Bieber fanatic because so many girls are going gaga over him and that irks me. maybe what Hana said was right, i should listen to more intellectual and inspirational songs.
