☆ DTVM Graduation 2013 ☆

To those year 3 poly students who have managed to successfully graduate from Poly...
HAPPY GRADUATION!!!

Up till now... I still can't believe I studied at SP, let alone graduating from there.
It seriously seemed like in a blink of an eye, we're out. And I still can't get over it.
Like how did 3 years past so quickly? Even faster than 4 years in secondary school.
I guess it's because we've been learning a lot, growing a lot and rushing for plenty of deadlines.
Unlike in secondary school... Where I'll just sit at the back of the class, with a bag of chips, like a boss during Amath. Like it was just me against the world (or Amath). I didn't care much when I got F9 for it only until Sec 4.

In Poly it was a different story altogether. I got so pissed at myself for getting a C for my stories or assignments. I even cried when I got a D. Like how does one even get a D?!?! I began having higher expectations of myself and reproached myself every time I didn't do as well as I thought I'd do. I guess because people start getting competitive, or maybe I was the one. Seeing everyone else get good grades sometimes I can't help myself from feeling inferior. I had difficulties fitting in at first, for some reason. I guess I saw everyone differently cause the people in my class were different from people in sec school. But OF COURSE, it's part of life. There are even more types of people out there I'll get to meet in future. Don't get me wrong, I don't mean different as in weird. I meant different as in the character, the race, the way they speak and behave, etc. I was glad to be able to learn from them.

I'm thankful to have met the people in my course. And especially thankful to a handful cause I think without them I wouldn't be where I am today. Angie, Evon, Gen and Kelly are from my FYP group. And I'm glad they were there to encourage me and push me to my limits :) I did become a more responsible person and I can now stay up till 5am without kicking much of a fuss. (Lol who am I kidding, after the holidays I curse whenever I have to sleep after 1am) Angie's always the one making sure that things are in order and we completed every task and so was Evon. Evon's the one cheering us on and making things less tense. Gen's the grammar queen keeping our proposals neat and tidy. And Kelly's just always there for me, whether I was happy or being a brat.

Also, thank you Jedidah Neo Si Enz for being my internship colleague but most of the time, partner-in-crime. Actually no, thanks to the lecturers who put us together in the same company ;)
I think it was fate, what say you? For us to be buddies in year one, and then for us to reconcile again in year 3 during internship HAHAHA. I'll never forget the 6 months with you, our PMS moments, our laughing fits, lunches with Lolo, us bullying Sh, TARU, our YOLO week ;) , us staying over at Swisshotel, December thug life period, and editing in the suite. I hope you'll forgive me for being harsh on you but you know I had my reasons for going 'JED!!! *angry face/nudge*'

I will thank you guys by writing letters individually once I find the time to!!! :)

Now onto the photos.
HAHAHAHAHA, LOOK AT THE 3 PHOTOS ABOVE, I JUST CAN'T-
It's like the perfect 3 photos to end of Poly life.
Thanks for putting me first in line so that everyone can see my pokerface. I was honestly awkward as hell and secretly panicking inside what face I should put on.

Photo #1: The 'Walao' Face
Applicable whenever there're 8am lessons and I have to squeeze in the train with 12,345 other working adults and students. Also when there're late night project discussions cause I get cranky whenever I don't get sufficient sleep. But what is sleep in poly anyway?
(I kinda miss those discussions now actually... when some of us will suddenly get high cause of tiredness and say random stuff, either that or we'll just keep really quiet and it'll be an obvious sign that we're tired. And then Evon will be cheering us on and telling us HEY WE CAN DO IT!!!)

Photo #2: The 'Wtf Imma Cut A b*tch' Face
When people are constantly late or making things difficult for others. I understand that everyone might be facing a battle in their lives but doesn't mean it's alright to impose on others. All I ask is for just a little bit of consideration :) I know I faced situations like this a few times, but I can't remember exactly when anymore.

Photo #3: The 'Yay tomorrow no school' / 'Yay I've graduated' / 'Yay going home time' Face
Captions are pretty self explanatory yeah? Who wouldn't feel that way?
HAHAHA.

Thanks Mom for packing food for me whenever I have to work on projects or film till late.
Thanks Dad for helping me to hang the clothes when I have to come home late too.
And thank you for giving me the opportunity to study in Poly and for coming to my graduation :)
