Recess Week

HELLO EVERYONE
I'm in denial that school started today. Like where did my recess week go? What recess week? Did it happen? Oh well but I guess school is kind enough to give us one week of 'rest' before slapping another heap of work at our faces. I cannot wait for December to come. Ok let's just say end of November, cause it sounds nearer. I am just counting down every single day.

So this was what happened last week:
Monday - Stayed over at Grandma's + Back to SP for interview + CWP with Grandma
Tuesday - Stayed over at Grandma's + School work
Wednesday - Short getaway to JB's City Square
Thursday - Airport with Evan + School work 
Friday - School Work
Saturday - Visited Grandpa + Facial + School work
Sunday - Church + School Work

Johor!!!
JCO's donuts own Donut Fact's or anywhere else. 
(except for Krispy Kreme, KK owns the donut throne)
Lunch at Seoul Garden at City Square. So much cheaper than SG's omg?
It was RM23 for students, so it's just approx SGD10?
 Went crazy on the chicken and seafood!!!

 Dessert at Hui Lau Shan which is known for their mango desserts.
Originated from Hong Kong if I'm not wrong.
Shared the platter above with my sis. Love the crispy ice-cream thingy, the pancake not so much and the mango and chewy balls are nice :)

Airport with E!
 Had our lunch at RAMEN CHAMPION.
 Ordered the shoyu ramen. Loved the pork, egg, noodles and broth. But seriously 1/2 of the bowl was filled with vegetables. It's like we paid for the vegetables.
 Our 2 bowls of ramen came with a kimchi tofu salad!
The kimchi was a little spicy but it wasn't sour so it was a little bit of a disappointment.
 HAHA :D
Did some sketching at Starbucks then went to the viewing mall to look at planes, stalk people and sketched some more. I'm so bad at real-life sketching. Throughout the whole time we were looking at planes we just wanted to hop on one and fly away.

Starbucks became my second home.
Something about it just makes me able to focus, or maybe as long as I'm not at home and my bed isn't in sight I'll be able to get work done. As soon as I'm on the bed, that's it.
My current favourites at SB are the spinach and mushroom quiche + chai tea latte/earl grey tea!!!

Finally got to try the swiss rolls from Mika @ City Square JB.
I could feel my stomach smiling :)
Tried the strawberry swiss roll and the strawberry cream was (in the words of Liam Payne) 
PURRR-FECT. The cake is so soft and fluffy too!!!!! ^_^
Got the coffee one as well and it tasted great!! Best swiss rolls I've ever tasted so far. Can't wait to get the other flavours when I return to JB.

Visited Grandpa's memorial thing for the first time on Saturday.
It felt really weird. Like, I don't know. How can things change so much in just a month or two?
Still in denial.
I miss you so much.

My motivation to go all the way to Chinatown for facial - Prawn Mee.
The broth is so SO good. Just add some chili powder and big red chili and we're good to go.
Plus 2 pieces of Goreng Pisang after lunch is a must :)

Hi guys!!!!! AS PROMISED, HERE'S A FOOD POST TO MAKE YOU HUNGRY. The bestie and I went to a cafe for tea followed by a scrumptious dinner back in July... And here are the photos and details. YAHAVA KOFFEEWORKS Since we were gonna have a pretty full dinner, E and I shared a cuppa latte and scone. I like how they serve their coffee in a ceramic cup with a colourful rubber holder. Different from those cups with a handle. The coffee was rich and well blended. Don't mind the ruined top of the rosetta latte art, accidentally scraped it. It was perf when it came!!! Raisin scone served with jam and butter, just the way I like it. It was good just that it would be better if it were to be a little more moist! E shooting me shooting her with a brand new camera TEEHEE. Because of the insanely hot weather, we then took a cab to Turf City!!!!! Obviously we had to walk around Pasarbella Farmer's Market since we were there. My fav shop in PFM :') ...

so my mind was completely shut off yesterday and i didn't feel like talking to anybody. neither do i feel like today but i guess that won't do and i won't be able to hide from the world forever. i am weird and i know that. i think i suffer from Anthropophobia. go search the dictionary. quoted from Edmunds' facebook, i think i'm an "introverted extrovert". and i've decided not to keep up with the 30-day challenge of Justin Bieber because i've been enlightened. i find no point in doing so cause its not as if he'll see it. and i've never even met him in person before and it'll be almost impossible to complete answering it. i'm starting to doubt myself even. maybe i should stop being sucha Justin Bieber fanatic because so many girls are going gaga over him and that irks me. maybe what Hana said was right, i should listen to more intellectual and inspirational songs.
