FESTIVE FOOD

I didn't blog because school sucked out all the energy I have. 
I have been wanting to write the past few days but because of art history midterm and a 18-page reading to be analysed before class... I can't. Got a 1000-words short story due this Sunday but- ok let's just get to the part where I make you hungry.

WATAMI WITH J
Ramen with black fungus that tasted really bitter. Thought maybe it was Japanese fungus that's why it's bitter but it's not!??! Fail.
It's a must to order this Cheese Mochi Gratin every time I visit Watami.

SENJYU WITH FAMILY 
Senjyu took over Sakae Sushi at Northpoint but the food's just like... Meh. Japanese food in SGP can you not? Stop being mediocre yet expensive at the same time!!!

Pork trotters submerged in vinegar @ Chinatown, Breakthrough Cafe. One of my fav dishes. I can just have the gravy with rice for a meal. T'was during lunch with Jed after pitching a film idea to UOB!
We had dim sum too and they were yummy. Thanks shawty for bringing me there ;) 
Teatime @ Marmalade Pantry with Momsy. Decided to give Mommy a treat after we had facial in January :') Times where we get to chitchat over a meal are rare!!!

CHINESE NEW YEAR FEAST
Grandma made yam cake for CNY day one. It's a tradition to visit Grandma's place on the first of every CNY and she would prepare a sumptuous breakfast for all of us :) Of course there were also fried bee hoon, vegetables, fish balls, and red bean soup! Classic.

Spent my first day of CNY a little differently this year.
Went to RWS with Grandma, Aunt Gina and Maria cause they wanted to visit the casino :)
Iced caramel macchiato + Egg white wrap @ RWS, Starbucks.
Had my favs while waiting for Grandma. Didn't wanna waste a hundred bucks on the entrance fee.
Tried gelato from Candilicious too ;)

Mela was really nice to host a CNY steamboat at her place for us (E+I) :)

Recess week is in a week's time and boy is this semester whizzing by really quickly.
Already looking forward to the long vacay in May but before that... I'll have to withstand the storm.
Short film competition, heaps of homework, painting + drawing (brb dying), project deadlines.
May the force be ever in my darn favour ;)

Hi guys!!!!! AS PROMISED, HERE'S A FOOD POST TO MAKE YOU HUNGRY. The bestie and I went to a cafe for tea followed by a scrumptious dinner back in July... And here are the photos and details. YAHAVA KOFFEEWORKS Since we were gonna have a pretty full dinner, E and I shared a cuppa latte and scone. I like how they serve their coffee in a ceramic cup with a colourful rubber holder. Different from those cups with a handle. The coffee was rich and well blended. Don't mind the ruined top of the rosetta latte art, accidentally scraped it. It was perf when it came!!! Raisin scone served with jam and butter, just the way I like it. It was good just that it would be better if it were to be a little more moist! E shooting me shooting her with a brand new camera TEEHEE. Because of the insanely hot weather, we then took a cab to Turf City!!!!! Obviously we had to walk around Pasarbella Farmer's Market since we were there. My fav shop in PFM :') ...

so my mind was completely shut off yesterday and i didn't feel like talking to anybody. neither do i feel like today but i guess that won't do and i won't be able to hide from the world forever. i am weird and i know that. i think i suffer from Anthropophobia. go search the dictionary. quoted from Edmunds' facebook, i think i'm an "introverted extrovert". and i've decided not to keep up with the 30-day challenge of Justin Bieber because i've been enlightened. i find no point in doing so cause its not as if he'll see it. and i've never even met him in person before and it'll be almost impossible to complete answering it. i'm starting to doubt myself even. maybe i should stop being sucha Justin Bieber fanatic because so many girls are going gaga over him and that irks me. maybe what Hana said was right, i should listen to more intellectual and inspirational songs.
