PERTH 2014: DAY 1 + 2

THANK GOD IT'S FRIDAY.

I had an enjoyable day today. It's been quite awhile since I spent an entire day with the bff.

No matter how much I annoy her and sing and scream she'll just accommodate. Either she's given up on me or she has a really high tolerance level. And... I choose to think the latter. Hahaha.

Anyway!!! I'm here to start on my Perth trip, which was great fun.

DAY (NIGHT) 1

For the first time in my life I sat Scoot. No tv, no entertainment, food which was mediocre or even less.

But since we chose the cheaper alternative, can't complain. No choice but to suck it up.

Beef stew pasta. Idk I think they should've called it carrot stew or smth cuz there were more carrots than beef chunks and there were just that few meagre strands of pasta HAHAHA.

I enjoyed my coke + chips though....... : - )

We arrived after 5.5 hours and by the time we reached Perth it was night.

The perfect time for dinner. Collected our car and drove to our apartment. Unloaded our luggage and headed out to HUNT for food. I like traveling w my cousins cuz I don't have to complain that I'm hungry... They do it for me. I'm hungry every 2 hours, they're hungry every 1/2 hr.

Settled for pizza cuz it was the only western place open.

Frickin' delish bread sticks with garlic butter... *sobz*

CLASSIC HAWAIIAN PIZZA

Omg the pizza... We all agreed that they were fantastic. The crust was of the right texture, crispy yet chewy. And the toppings were put together so perfectly.

Pizza + I can never be separated.

Went to Bottle Mart (a place which sells alcohol and snacks) with the cousins cuz we wanted to walk in the cold. We got a bottle of apple juice and SMITH chips, headed back and watched football.

DAY 2

My aunt was so nice to prepare breakfast for us every single morning.

She went to the grocery store and got bacon, ham and bread to make toast for us :')

YUMMERZ.

The cousins and I made a quick run to the grocery store to explore + get more food.

EGGS + BACON + MOCHA + TOILET ROLLS

My cous was saying that we could be rich selling eggs in OZ hahaha

Day 2 was helluva touristy!!! We visited so many places.

First stop - CAVERSHAM WILDLIFE PARK.

MY TASTEBUDS GOT TO ENJOY ONE OF THE MOST DELICIOUS ICE-CREAM I'VE EVER TASTED IN MY 21 YEARS OF EXISTENCE.

We were greeted by these crazy laughing birds. So much so that I got infected and started laughing like that. As if my laughter wasn't annoying enough.

SO CUTE KOOKABURA!!!

These parrots were adorbs ok.

They said hello to us. And then when I laughed they mimicked my laughter. And when my cousin said bye they replied BYE. Seriously smarter than some people.

The kangaroos will just lick your hands until their free from remnants of food.

Not even a crumb is wasted lol.

I swear Caversham was inhabited by sassy animals.

I mean just look at that sassy kangaroo just lying there not giving a care at all.

^This is me everyday after work, taking to the floor.

I wish I could make a gif of myself to show you how sassy its head turned after strutting to the end of the branch.

Seriously ^ it's an entire sheep's body. Large enough as a rug for my room lol.

Funny story... He told them to hold the bottles and get ready to suck them.

And then... Little lambs ran out towards the kids omg THAT SCENE WAS SO ADORABLE

After bidding farewell to my fellow sassy friends we headed for lunch at Alma's.

I love the steam vege but the chicken was too tough. The spinach and cheese stuffing was amazing though!!!!

Just bratwurst and pickles. Nothing fanciful!

CHOCOLATE FACTORY OMG WHERE DREAMS ARE MADE

Cous and I shared a cone. he got the choco brownie (which was fantabulous) while I had the vanilla bean. Such taste, much flavour. Eating ice-cream in the cold is pure bliss.
