After 14 years
HELLLLLO THERE.
I have been busy being a sloth, just catching up on dramas, sleeping and stuffing myself with food.
Y'know I wish I had the willpower to blog everyday and the brains to generate good content...
But on some days the inner Fat Amy unleashes herself and I'll think 'Mmm, better not'.
(Fat Amy's from Pitch Perfect btw. If you haven't watched it, you should.)
From today onwards I'll take an oath to blog every week for at least once or twice.
For remembrance sake.
So... I met my kindergarten friends on Friday night.
YES, AFTER 14 FREAKIN' LONG YEARS.
And surprisingly it wasn't as weird as we'd thought it'll be and it was as if we're just catching up as really old friends. Don't you love that feeling?
We brought pictures and reminisced about those times in K1 & K2.
I kinda remembered quite a lot. I miss those swimming classes, computer classes (the guys couldn't recall but I thought we had it really!!), practicing dance moves for graduation day, night camp and the 3 meals we have every day. Every time before we eat we'd have to line up in a straight line and sing a prayer song before we go to the tables. Haha uber cute.
^ Swim class, guess which is me!
How about a round of applause for the shortest girl in class?
Was the shortest in class but I've grown and am no longer the shortest among my friends.
HAHAHA what a sense of achievement but no worries you guys still own my heart ;)
So ANYWAY, the only 2 classmates I still keep in touch with are Jiayu and Jinmin.
We even have mutual friends omg the world is just so small I can't even-
Ah yes just chillin' at the void deck in the middle of the night like rebellious kids.
That's so secondary school isn't it? And now we're hitting 2_ eww do not fancy the idea of growing up at all. I hope the younger generation won't be as eager to grow up as how we were last time.
Go out, jump ropes, sit on the swings, slide, swim, tell stories, hang with your family, whatever, just don't glue your eyes to screens cause you'll grow up with no fond memories of your childhood.
CNY has been great to me with all the good food and sleep I'm able to catch up on.
I'm happy but at the same time worrying about uni applications. Everywhere I go there's bound to be someone who'll pop the cliche question 'What're you going to do after your internship?'
I might sound confident saying I'm gonna apply for uni but I am honestly afraid. It's only normal to say you're gonna apply because that's what adults would wanna hear, right? The only things I can do now are to pray and try. Ahhhh I hope this goes well. Just the thought about trying sends chills down my spine. Another phase of life. Well I guess right now we all just have to remember:
'Take every chance, drop every fear'
Good luck to everyone else who's gonna encounter major changes in life.
Ending on a lighter note, internship ends this Friday!!!
PEACE OUT BYE.

3rd girl from the last, starting from the right! that's you!! muahahahah(;
