H a i k u

Won in a poem contest last year.

Probably my only non-academic achievement through the whole 3 years in poly.

It was sort of a random class assignment and we were told to pick a book from the shelves and write a haiku with the title. Our teacher submitted all our poems to the library contest so I guess it's a luck thing.

And... Of all things I picked commitment. Interesting isn't it?

Commitment needs love and time.

And in a relationship sometimes love is just not quite enough.

I got my hands on Fight Club and have been diligently reading ever since Monday. 

Haikus in a story itself. Impressive. I couldn't understand the way Chuck wrote the book at the beginning because it was either really confusing, or I just don't know the story enough to understand. You know how some books or movies you won't be able to understand what triggered the entire situation until you reach the middle or even the end of the story. Yeah it seems like Fight Club is such a book. And it's intriguing cause once I open the book it's hard to put down.

There's a movie too and I'm gonna watch it as soon as I'm done with the book.

I'm feeling quite happy because things that once bothered me, I don't care anymore.

At some point you realize you don't need certain people and their crap.

Other times you realize the world isn't against you and it's just you against yourself.
