♡The Fabulous Baker Boy♡

Celebrated Evan's birthday a day early at The Fabulous Baker Boy on Thursday, 25th July!
Such a lovely little cafe situated at the foothill of Fort Canning. The only thing it lacks is air conditioning as it's alfresco sitting. Only the cashier and cakes area has air con. Thank God the weather wasn't that much of a killer that afternoon.

The mandatory TFBB shot :) mad love the display and the cakes!!!!
I would love to own one of those glass cake stands. Classy.
Red velvet.
Lemon slice.
The baking/frosting area 'KEEP CALM AND EAT CAKE'.
How cool is that? Inspired to have that painted on my kitchen wall in future.

You have to order at the cashier inside the shop.

 My Beef Pastrami with chips.
Love the beef but not a fan of the bread. T'was too hard.
It came with free tomato soup which I love cause it's so tangy :)

 Mel's Cottage Pot Pie.
Tasted pretty good but don't think it's anything special.

Evan's Egg Benedict. Look at the size of the poached egg!
She complained about the potatoes which we assumed were grilled. They were too hard.
The bread was fantastic though, compliments the egg really well. The poached eggs were a little overdone too.

Annice's Beef Pot Pie.
I tried a little and it was fantastic!!! Maybe cause I'm a fan of beef and it's really hard to turn down beef stew...

Red Velvet Cake - Instead of frosting with cream cheese it was chocolate ganache at the top. Really love the combination :)
E's birthday cake - Caribbean Lemon Slice
I really like this cake too. Love the combination of lemon and coconut together.

 Happy Birthday, E (:
Hope you enjoyed everything.
Love you girls♥

Annice, E and I headed to Liang Court's Starbucks after Mel went back to work.
Was craving for something icy and sour cause the sun was scorching.
Hibiscus + Green Tea Iced Shakened Lemon Tea
After cooling down, we went to Meidiya Japanese Supermarket at the basement.
Did a little grocery shopping and shared a box of sushi before heading home!
***

3 more days before checking in to the hostel and 1 week before school officially starts.
It'll be 'FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL' all over again for the fourth time but I should be thankful that I'm given the opportunity to study. Excited yet nervous. I should be able to do this (:

Bye!
