KYUSHU 2013 (PART 3)
5 more days to Christmas you guys!!!
The holidays have been treating me great so far and I hope they've been good to you too.
Continuing with part 3 of my Kyushu trip.
DAY 3
Day 3 was nothing less than amazing :)
AHOY MATEY
We woke up earlier that morning as we had to board a ship to another town. It's like in SGP we have Yishun, AMK and YCK so yeah. The waves, rays of sunlight, feeding the seagulls- FEEDING THE SEAGULLS?! It was the first time and I enjoyed that :)
OHANA MEANS FAMILY.
I might enjoy feeding them birds but let's be real, I'm not a fan of birds.
They intimidate me and the thought of getting my fingers bitten off... *pauses morbid thoughts again*
VOLCANO. I think I'm like a volcano. I think women are like volcanoes. They look so tame and calm on the outside but you just never know when they're gonna erupt and cause a disaster!!!
ROADTRIP
One thing I like about going on tour is the long bus rides. I honestly don't mind.
I can sleep anywhere, even when I'm standing. So within 15 minutes I'll doze off for sure. Plus I like plugging in to my iPod and watching endless scenery fly by me. Like a typical music video. I often stare at the streets and sea, and drift off, imagining myself to be like say in Justin Bieber's MV. Again, a girl can dream.
Roadtrip essentials! A phone, earpiece, pen, notebook and USA scarf.
PS not giving up on my dream of going to the States.
SHOPPING @ KAGOSHIMA
UNAGI BENTO FOR LUNCH
Have you tried the nicest eel sushi or bento in Singapore?
Well sorry to harsh your mellow but the nicest Unagi is found in Japan :')
The texture. Love. The gravy. Love. The rice. Love. The miso soup. Love.
People disappoint but Japanese food don't.
STARBUCKS
As a huge Starbucks fan, I look for Starbucks no matter where I go.
It makes feel at home. Plus, seeing all the unique pastries and festive beverages they have that Sgp don't... Yay?! *Which reminds me I will share an incident (rant) at the end of the post so grab your popcorn then.
Gingerbread latte. Loved it!
A MANMADE GARDEN
I think my friend HC will like this :)
The closest I could get to Mt. Fuji. Ahahaha. ONE DAY, THOUGH.
One day I will visit Mt. Fuji and plant my flag.
HOTEL + BLACK HOT SAND BATH
We went for a hot black sand bath before dinner. Pictures I choose not to share because I just look like a corpse whose head they forgot to burry with black sand. Even though I got my butt burnt that night, it was worth it because at least I now know how it feels to be buried alive. MUAHAHA.
KONNICHIWA THIS GIRL AIN'T MAKIN' U A SANDWICH SO SAYONNARA.
Massive dinner after hot sand bath, which I didn't manage to finish because life isn't a bed of roses, thus, not all dishes were splendid.
But sashimi and tempura oh how I will always love thee :')
Can someone sponsor me to travel the world? Cause I surely wouldn't mind blogging every single day if I was to be sponsored. I would travel if I had the $kaching$ but life isn't a wish-granting factory so...
I call bull on the song Pricetag because it's always about the money :)
Alright, I'll end here!
Finally completed the Christmas cards. I'm a day late so I apologise in advance should my cards receive later than Christmas.
I'm currently reading a book called Invisible Monsters by Chuck Palahniuk. I love morbid in the day but I fear it at night so I only read it in the day. I hope I'll be brave enough to read all his books. It's a goal I'm setting for 2014.
*I remember there was a day in Kyushu where we were walking down a street with shops. My sis saw Starbucks and told me and of course I was all like "Omg Starbucks yay!!!"
And you know me, I don't hide my emotions. When I'm happy I squeal. And so this particular 'atas' lady in our tour group looked over and gave me a face. A face which I didn't like. A face which I'd punch if God permitted. I do not appreciate adults showing attitude like they're all that. Sure you can afford all the Agnes B bags in the world, but when you're with a group, get off your high horse.
