Seoul 2014: Day 2

HAPPY SATURDAY EVERYONE!
So yay I'm updating with our Day 2 in Seoul.
We had breakfast at Paris Baguette cuz 1) it's everywhere 2) it's near our hotel 3) it's cheaper than eating at PB in Sgp. I like how it's an open-concept where they just spread all the noms across a table and you can just pick whatever you want.
OH MY GAWD IT'S BREAD GALORE?!?!
CROISSANTS!!!
^^^ Uhm, I love all of the above okay?!?!?! It's like I can't find any flaws considering how picky I am.
Love the chicken salad. Love the garlic toast. Love the crabmeat roll.

After breakfast we took the subway (their train) to N Seoul Tower also known as Namsan Tower.
Silly us... We took the train and then took the bus at the bus stop outside the station. And guess what?! The bus passed by dong dae mun (the place we were staying at) and we all went like... "Hey isn't that near our hotel?!" Hahaha like what my mom said "That's like taking the train from Yishun to Amk and then taking the bus back to Yishun".
Claudia, my pretty cousin + travel buddy.
Their cabins are separated by doors which I think is quite cool.
Their trains also have metal racks above the seats for people to put their bags and stuff... And in my opinion is a good idea so that people won't get shoved or tickled by other passengers' bags. Plus it obviously gives more space for other passengers to board and stand. Also what I like about their trains is that their quite efficient and don't jerk nor stop every now and then. AND LASTLY, what I love is that you can consume food and beverages on the train!!! Perfect for a foodie like me. But wait before you start questioning about their cleanliness... Their trains are clean and don't stink.
Ok enough praises for Korean subway, moving on.
Presenting to you N Seoul Tower from a distance away.
If ya'll watch Korean dramas you'll recognise this monumental tower.
Esp in Boys over Flowers where my Lee Min Ho acted in.
Hi Claire!!!! :)

Apparently we were standing at the geographical center of Seoul... YAY?
My mom was really funny. She kept calling me cuz she wanted me to snap a pic of them at the center of Seoul. So I went towards them and she told me the wooden plank in front of us was it. But it wasn't?!?!?! HAHAHA and I stupidly stood on top. It was JUST a wooden platform lol.
Tree of locks of love.
Ya ok to lock your love you need to pay 10 bucks.
I'd rather lock my stomach with a slice of cake for 10 bucks...
And I did with some churros for only 1/3 the price at a churros bar next to the souvenir shop!!!
Together with some Arizona iced tea :') I like how they have so many things that the States has.
I know we have that tea in SGP but it's more expensive as compared.
 BYE NAMSAN TOWER!

After that we hopped on a bus and headed to SHOPPING HAVEN - MYEONG DONG.
I LOVE MYEONG DONG VERY MUCH.
Say hi to my mom, everybody. Without whom my trip would not have been possible.
So thank you mom!!!! :')

LO AND BEHOLD, THE CAT CAFE.
I saw a dog mascot on the street promoting for the dog cafe. And awhile later I saw a cat mascot. I was so happy I hurried towards the mascot and asked where the cafe was.
I was literally following a 2-legged walking cat that scene was so hilarious.
SO CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!
Every kitty has a name.
Only 10 bucks SGD and you get to hang with the cats as long as you like.
Plus you get a free drink say what?!?!?!
Sadly we can't hug nor carry the cats... Though I understand cuz we might not know how to handle them properly. Like humans, doubt they like to be manhandled. Hahaha. Cats wearing collars are best not to be messed with cuz apparently they're sensitive.
THOSE EYES. Love this shot ^
RARRRR!
Evidently this cat was getting pretty sick of my shiat so...
It went to sleep.
The shop keeper feeding the cat ;)
SO POISED.

Snapped some more pix with my phone too of course :)
LOOK AT THE WAY IT'S SLEEPING!!! :')
"TALK TO MY PAW PEASANTS"
Super cute ok!?!? There was this other cat lying in this hole with half its body in and half out.
So I was trying to stroke it so I touched its tail. Guess it was a wrong move cuz it turned around and slapped my hand with its paw?!?!?! HAHAH that moment was so epic I LOLed.
CATS ARE SO SASSY I SWEAR.
And then there was this weird cat rubbing its face against the fan oh my gawd.
It was soooo cute and I was just standing there observing it for a good 5-minutes. HAHAHA.
 JUST LOOK AT IT.
Stop playing coy kitty ily!!!

SHE LOOKS SO PERFECT STANDING THERE IN MY
UNDERWEAR.
The clothes are NOT cheap at all.
We had a scrumptious dinner at Red Sun!
Spicy soup with sausage, luncheon meat, egg, glass noodles, rice cakes, tofu and vege.
I LOVE THIS DISH SOOOO MUCH!!! AM CRAVING KOREAN FOOD SO BADLY NOW.
Black bean paste soup base!
Of course, we had street food after dinner.
Found the legendary EGG BREAD :')
It actually doesn't taste like bread but instead more like a muffin cause of the texture and its sweetness.
Yummy!!!
The 32cm ice-cream which I didn't get to try cuz I was too full :'(
SWEETEST AND JUICIEST STRAWBERRIES I'VE EVER TASTED IN MY LIFE.
You can add chocolate for an extra 1000 won. Otherwise you can have either honey or condensed milk with your strawbies for free. I chose the condensed milk and it was AWESOME.
Myeong Dong Theater. So pretty :)
I like their Forever 21 building!!!
Obviously had to try Korea's Starbucks when I'm there!!! :)
They sell so many different type of pastries, even macarons. YUMZ.
I really love their coffee.

Called it a night at 10 plus pm and reached the hotel at 11 plus.
Was soooo tired omg. We walked so much and the flights of stairs from the subway to ground level were enough to kill us all hahaha.

DAY 2 IS BY FAR THE MOST TIRING DAY YET IT WAS MY FAVOURITE.
Stay tuned for day 3! G'night
☺☺☺
