Birthday 2.0 Part 1

I am honestly thankful for such lovely friends. I know I expect a lot from people and I'm so hard to please but thanks for going through all the effort to plan something for me : )

Here's part 1 which happened yesterday!

I was in the pantry preparing breakfast and Jed came in and said someone is waiting for me downstairs and claims to be my secondary school friend. So I was like 'Who is it' and went to check who it was. While I was about to go down the stairs, there the spongebob balloon was, tied to the railing of the staircase. So sweet of her! She saw that in my 2011 wishlist I wanted a big balloon and now I can finally strike it off :')

Then lunch came and she and Lolo brought me to a Japanese pasta place near our office.
Lolo wasn't feeling very well and I'm super thankful she still came along with us.
The pasta was super delish!!! It's served in a claypot pressure cooker thing and when the timer goes off after 5 minutes, the waiter will come and prepare the pasta for you. Yummy in my tummy!!!!✌
^ Aww my koala Shaniqua♡
^ Mad love this candid photo of Lolo and I cause we looked so blissful!
Jed and I both ordered Shrimp and squid linguine in aurora (tomato + cream) sauce!

After we're done with the food the staff came out with a plate of tiramisu with 'Angel♡' written on it and sang a birthday song to me while one of them played the accordion. Omg I was so shocked and embarrassed at the same time I wanted to cry :p
The service is really commendable. I have never encountered such good service in Singapore, never.
They heard that Lolo wasn't feeling well and served her a plate of salad on the house. Jed's order came out wrong and they let her have it until they prepared a correct order for her. And they even play the accordion and sincerely sang the birthday song so loudly. Japanese ftw!!! :')

Went back to the office and Jed and Lolo passed me my gifts hehehe.
Managed to snap some pictures too!
AND THEN WE DID THE JELLYFISH DANCE!
Thank you sweethearts for planning the surprise for me and for the gifts I love a lot!!

Met Lj for dinner after work and we went to Timbre.
Finally I managed to try the pizza that everyone was raving about it!!!
Of course I had to order a VIRGIN mojito because I can't take alcohol and don't really fancy the taste of it~ It tasted really unique though. Guess it was the ginger ale. LJ's peach house pour was nicer duh!
Tried the half-and-half pizza - roasted duck + seafood.
I preferred the seafood to the duck Idk why. Probably cause the duck is a little too Asian for me. No doubt it tasted good but I was expecting something more ; )

Would love to go back and try their pastas and buffalo wings!! Looked really tempting but the pizza was more than enough for the 2 of us and we were filled to the brim.
Thank you for bringing me out and accompanying me to run around town to look for a gift :)
The night ended with me being a full and happy girl.

☺
Part 2 with my favourite girls coming right up!!
