RWS Staycation '12

Here are the pictures from my staycation at RWS with my family in December!

LUNCH @ MALAYSIA FOOD STREET
Nasi Lemak | Lor Mee | Char Kuay Teow | Happy Daddy and Amelia

The food is excellent I can't even-
Seriously just spend $1 and walk into Sentosa to try it's worth it. Even my Malaysian colleague says that the food fair's standard is quite good. Love that the entire food court has the olden days vibe.
Heard that there's another outlet Malaysia Boleh! at Jurong Point too :)

MARITIME EXPERIENTIAL MUSEUM

It's basically a museum telling and showing us about how during the olden days different countries did trading be it in the form of money or goods. So we got to this table with wax figures in discussion and snapped some pictures ;-)
'SIGN THIS OR I'LL.... (HEE HEE HEE)'

'HEE HEE VAS HAPPENIN?'

 Baldy's my friend :)

Also I've decided to share my sunglasses with a buddy cause I doubt they had shades during the olden days? Hahaha oh wait, or maybe during Wong Fei Hong period they had. Ok nvm.

 WHO RUN THE WORLD?
GIRLS.

CHECKED IN TO FESTIVE HOTEL

DINNER @ VIVO CITY'S KIM GARY RESTAURANT
Beef noodles | Chicken chop spaghetti in twin sauce | Eel bibimbap
The bibimbap was the best - loved the eel sauce.

 Beautiful Mama :)

Walked around Vivo and took sentosa express back to Waterfront station! Everyone was tired so we decided to head back to the hotel to rest ;)

UNIVERSAL STUDIOS SINGAPORE + COUSIN DEREK

WE ALL ENJOYED THE TRANSFORMERS RIDE SO MUCH AND RATED IT THE BEST RIDE, WITH BATTLESTAR'S CYLON AS RUNNER-UP OF COURSE.
We queued for 100 minutes for the transformers ride and I was telling my Dad that it had better be worth it. And it was!!!!!! If we had more time I'd definitely queue again.

And then we met Ernie on the way... After snapping pictures with him we all concluded that the one in the mascot was a guy. LOL it was ridiculous cause he kept covering my face while I was waiting for a picture and then took his scarf and wrap around my face for the last picture?!?! That's a little cray cray.

Was super happy to be able to finally try the turkey leg!!!!
Remembered it to be $9++ but now one small leg costs $12 and $13.80 with a drink.
Will not eat it again when I go there cause it's not worth it. A tad too dry but was glad I could try it :p

DINNER @ IMPERIAL TREASURE
Xiao Long Bao | Pork trotters | Sliced eel ramen | Sweet and sour fried fish
First time dining at Imperial Treasure and I must say the food was rather delicious ;)
Loved the xlbs especially and Grandma even tried making a version of the sweet and sour fish!

LUNCH @ MALAYSIA STREET FAIR (AGAIN)
See I told you the food was that good we went back!
Had Claypot rice, Penang laksa, Nasi Lemak, Chendol and Ice Kachang this time :)
Headed to Underwater World after that.

UNDERWATER WORLD
I always feel a sense of achievement when animals pose for my camera ;)

Ah yes exhibiting the newest mammal in the aquarium.

The jellyfishes were super pretty with the lights illuminating through their bodies *_*
If I'm not wrong the colour probably came from inside the tank... If not they'd be like chameleons.

Ahhh I miss Sentosa already. Not sure if it's just me or Sentosa really does make you feel like you're not in Singapore... Especially USS!!!! I feel touristy when I'm there, whipping out my camera, walking around in slippers and tanktop and all :) Can't wait to go back.

Took quite a few videos but it's taking quite awhile to load so I'll compile it and show you guys as soon as it's done. It's still a pretty decent post for the start of a new year don't you think? ;)
Happy new year again. Goodnight ya'll!
